As some of you know, after celebrating his birthday, Peter decided to do himself a mischief… which unfortunately landed him in hospital with a brain bleed! 🤦🏻‍♀️

He had a nasty fall backwards down the internal stairs at home, smashing his head open. Initially, he was checked over, cleared of a stroke and sent home. However, the following morning, as we were getting ready to head to work, I noticed the left side of his face was drooping. It was straight back to hospital for an MRI, which revealed a brain bleed that was also affecting the left side of his body and the vision in his left eye.

Thankfully, we were told Pete was very lucky and that he is expected to make a full recover 🙏🏻❤️

After some much needed rest and recovery, Pete returned to work yesterday! He’s easing himself back into things by taking on a couple of jobs a day, including regos, services and brakes, until his specialist gives him the all clear. 💪🏻

Here’s a photo of Pete this afternoon with Shirley 💖

🚗 Need a service, brakes or a rego before Christmas?

A little update on Pete ❤️

After a very long and stressful four weeks, we’re so happy to say that Pete is now well and truly in the recovery stage.

He’s made incredible progress and, most importantly, the good old Pete we all know and love is back. His memory is has finally come back and is improving every day, he’s getting stronger, and he’s already talking about getting back to the factory and having a b**r!

His next step will be moving to rehab, where he’ll work on rebuilding the muscle and strength he’s lost after being bedridden for so long, as well as getting him walking properly and continuing to work on his memory.

There’s still a road ahead, but compared to where we were a few weeks ago, we’re incredibly grateful to be at this point.

Thank you so much to everyone who has checked in, sent messages, visited and supported Pete and our family. It really has meant more than you know.

When he’s finally out of hospital and home where he belongs, I’ll share a proper update on everything he’s been through over the past month.

For now, we’re just very grateful to have our Pete back. ❤️

PS: There is a story to do with the penguin 🐧

Ok I can't keep this from everyone any longer people of the Shire are wondering where he is - Pete was admitted on Monday for suspected peritonitis and then was rushed back in this morning.

You wouldn't think from this photo that he had a suspected stroke and he isn't loving his beard 👨🏻‍🦰

Will keep you all updated and let everyone that is booked in next week if I need to change you appointments.

Pete was back at work today and had a lot of people in shock when they found out he nearly killed himself with Round Up. Let me just tell you he didn’t dilute it and that was his first mistake that almost ended him.

Lucky he has his business and amazing customers to keep him going.

Thank you all for the messages and visits to see how he is 🙏🏻💖

Pete has been doing well since his last hospital visit but today he decided to use Round Up on the weeds and almost killed himself ☠️

He is currently in the hospital been attended to for dehydration, vomiting, fainting and other stuff to do with inhalation of the fumes, etc.

And all he keep saying, when he could put a sentence together was “I have to be at work on Tuesday” 🤣

I’ll keep you all update and will contact customers that are booked in if I need to reschedule.

Pete has survived and is still in ICU.

Everything went well and we were told by the Dr he had an extra Parathyroid gland, which about 1% of the population have 5 instead of 4.

Will update you all again soon and he thanks you all for the well wishes 💖

Pete is back and doing well. He has had non stop visitors since his return and today his cousin came in to pick up his car and we were lucky enough to get a photo of them together. I think the first in 50 years 😊

Pete has escaped the hospital after a rough 6 days.

He will be glad to be back at work on Monday. Wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to sneak into the factory over the weekend 🤣🤣🤣
