It's official my last day as publican will be the 18th January 2026, marking exactly 4 years since we started. Get ready for a week's worth of celebrations, both anniversary and going away.

What a year it's been 🤠

Big thankyou to all of our loyal customers, staff, suppliers and supporters, without you the Kirup wouldn't be the little pub that could.

As most of you know there are some big changes on the horizon and today marks the end of what will likely be my last full year. The emotions are big, I'm proud as f**k of what I've achieved but the time to pass the torch is near.

This place has spirit, it has energy of its own and I've been very lucky to be a part of it.

I've met some real salt of the earth people throughout this process, too many to name, and the kindness of strangers is often what got me through. So to everyone of you that have contributed I extend eternal gratitude 🙌

Pop in for a beer this arvo before we close for New Years Day.
