Dave’s R100 has been back in the workshop for some winter rear-end upgrades, with one clear goal in mind… improving the 60-foot times and making the car more consistent off the line.

To help achieve that, the boys have fitted a set of custom Penske 8300 double adjustable rear shocks, built specifically for the R100 chassis setup. While the rear end was apart, the old anti-roll bar setup was removed and replaced with a CJ Racecars “Big Johnson” anti-roll bar kit.

As anyone who has worked on an R100 knows, space is extremely limited, so Todd had to get creative to make the new ARB work effectively while still allowing room for future upgrades and servicing access.

With the rear end removed, Todd went about removing the old chassis support bars before fabricating and fitting a new rear cross brace setup. The chassis bars were then repositioned to allow fitment of a Tim McAmis rear driveshaft enclosure for added safety.

While everything was apart, Todd also fabricated a custom transmission belly pan designed to help prevent transmission fluid from making its way onto the rear tyres in the event of a component failure.

To finish off the rear-end upgrades, Mick wired in Dave’s rear shock sensors to complete the package.

We’re looking forward to seeing what improvements these changes bring once the track reopens following the new surface upgrade.

A little bit of stainless art on this miserable Monday for this beautiful FC RX7 😮‍🔥

Todd has absolutely killed it with this master piece!!

Full custom 3.5” stainless steel exhaust system, front to back — built with one goal in mind… flow and symmetry.

From the merge right through to the twin exits, everything is laid out to keep it balanced and efficient. The Y merge is spot on, transitions are smooth, and every section has been carefully pie-cut to keep exhaust velocity up and restriction down.

3.5” front to back, V-bands throughout for serviceability, O2 provision sorted, and a climb back setup to keep everything tucked up tight and flowing clean under the car.

And the welds… say no more 🤌 Clean, consistent, and exactly how they should be on a system like this.

Tucked up perfectly, clears everything, and finishes off with twin tips sitting just right out the rear.

We’ve been a little quiet on socials lately… but that’s only because the workload behind the scenes has been anything but quiet 🥵

This freshly completed FC V-mount cooler setup, all custom fabricated in-house, now back from powder coaters and looking absolutely 👌

Clean, functional, and let’s be honest… downright delicious 🤤

This setup not only looks the part but is built to perform, keeping temps under control while maximising airflow efficiency—exactly how we like it.

A bit of an update on Carmelo’s immaculate RX3.

Recently he upgraded his Injectors to a set of FuelTechs, along with having a new exhaust manifold fabricated before heading down to his local hub dyno in Melbourne so we could do a remote tune.

While we were going through the process we noticed the engine had a miss and called it a day.

Carmelo had the car sent over to Goran at GZM to investigate. It turns out the trigger wheel was damaged, so Goran went ahead and designed and manufactured a custom trigger wheel for the setup.

With the new trigger wheel installed, along with a new sensor and wiring from Racemode, it was time to jump back on the dyno for another remote session.

On the same dyno, at 29.3 psi, the combo laid down a stout 751hp through the GZM Jatco.

No doubt this will keep Carmelo's hands full on the streets of Mexico.

On behalf of Rotomotion and Vince’s family, we just want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you who attended Vince’s Memorial Cruise today.

Seeing so many rotaries, bikes, and familiar faces come together meant more than words can say. The weather turned it on for us, and the atmosphere was exactly what Vince would have loved — good people, good machines, and great conversations.

To everyone who stayed on for a drink, a chat, and a proper catch-up, we truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of it.

Thank you for helping us celebrate a true gentleman of WA’s rotary community. ❤️

Join us in honouring Vince’s life with a relaxed Sunday coastal cruise and a chance to share stories, memories, and good company.

We’ll meet at the City West Licensing car park at 10:00am, with departure at 10:30am sharp. From there, we’ll cruise north along the coast toward the northern suburbs, with a few short regroup stops along the way to keep everyone together.

Our final stop will be at Whitfords Brewing Company, where anyone who wishes can stay on for lunch and a beer or two as we celebrate a true gentleman of WA’s rotary community.

This cruise is open to all cars — rotary and non-rotary alike. We simply ask that everyone drives responsibly and respectfully: follow the road rules, and please no dangerous driving or burnouts.

Let’s make it a great day in Vince’s memory.

Throwback Thursday takes us back to October 2017, the first shakedown of the season at Power Palooza.

Back then, running 7s was something to be proud of…

Fast forward to today and it’s all about 6s, baby.

To this day, Murder Rota remains WA’s only 6-second rotary — an achievement we’re incredibly proud of.

🎄 Christmas & New Year Closure🎄
