This MK8 Golf R arrived with a Stage 2 calibration and all the supporting hardware already fitted, making it the perfect candidate for a Unitronic UniFLEX upgrade.

The UniFLEX sensor integrates neatly into the engine bay, looking almost factory-installed while delivering a huge improvement in functionality and performance.

The brief was simple: build a Golf R that could handle serious track work while maintaining the reliability and drivability expected from a street car. Having already completed a number of upgrades on this vehicle, it was time to take things to the next level.

A lot of people ask what is a Flex Fuel Tune?

A flex-fuel tune allows your vehicle to automatically adjust its engine calibration based on the ethanol content in the fuel tank. Whether you’re running regular premium petrol, E85, or any blend in between, the ECU detects the ethanol percentage and optimizes performance accordingly.

Benefits of Flex Fuel:
βœ… More power and torque on higher ethanol blends like E85
βœ… Automatic adjustment between fuelsβ€”no map switching required

Round recap from the latest WA Production Car Series and what a weekend it was for the team at Precision Auto HausοΏΌ.

With 2 sprint races throughout the day followed by a 40-minute endurance race, we came into the weekend expecting plenty of tweaks and fine tuning. The GR Yaris had only 10 minutes of practice following a complete ground-up build, while the 40 Year GTI was running recent suspension and wheel changes for the first time in competition.

Safe to say… the results spoke for themselves. πŸ‘Š
