A Melbourne workshop turning over $2 million a year with 7 mechanics. Sounds like a successful business... right?

👀 But when we looked at the numbers, we found a significant amount of money being left on the table 👀

The problem wasn't the labour rate. It was the billable hours.

Could your workshop be making the same mistake?

Heading away for Christmas or over summer holidays? ☀️ 🎄

If your car is going to be sitting for a few weeks, give the battery a little attention before you go.

It's not always a pricing problem. Sometimes it's a confidence problem.

You know your costs have gone up, but putting up your prices? That's a different story.

Here's something to think about.

If your costs have gone up and your prices haven't, you've already given your customers a discount.

You just didn't call it that.

A full workshop can still be a broke workshop.

It’s an easy trap to fall into. You’re flat out, so the obvious answer is more work. More bookings. More cars through the door.

But if the work isn’t profitable, getting busier just creates more stress.

Mechanics, not sure how profitable your workshop really is? Try our Workshop Profit Calculator to see where you might be leaking money.
