Common for all Stock ECU are the boost cut and limits set from factory, This Evo 8 MR is completely Stock standard with only 80,000kms

These minor modifications will cause boost spiking, which will signal the Stock ECU. Once the limit has been reached the overboost limit will activate factory boost cut
In this case we had boost spike to 24 psi
The simple solution would be to install a
Electronic boost controller
Re-flash Stock ECU
