TIP!! Holden owners (FB EK EJ EH HD HR HK HT HG), this one is for you.

All of the early Holden's seals run fins inside to help seal against the glass. Great for the 60s when you had toughened windscreens, not so good with laminated windscreens.

Removing those fins with a sharp knife, 6mm chisel etc, will instantly buy you 5mm-6mm of additional space in the rubber and remove strain on the glass.

Remember....just because you havent in the past, doesn't mean you shouldn't in the future!

It's all in the detail! This LH LX Torana sedan just got a nice new front and rear windscreens in clear, but the locking strip is not what you'd expect.

We recommend running the Holden Gemini locking strip. It's a little flatter and a little wider so it looks more like the original profile, but most importantly it helps fix the problems that a lot of Torana's have with shrinkage/puckering in the corners. It helps spread the rubber out a little more so that the rubber sits around the body properly.

Regardless of what brand rubber you're using, we suggest ditching the "Torana" chrome mylar locking strip that all of the major suppliers send out and swapping over to the Gemini profile.

DON'T buy the Gemini profile online through the major retailers as you'll get the incorrect lengths (they're too short compared to the Torana). We sell it by the meter so that you get the correct lengths.

UPDATE: BACK ONLINE 😃😃
