Holly Rose and myself were semi homeless during covid due to our landlord selling our home and I lived on a friends couch for a month.... my family went and lived with my parents 200kms away for a month till i secured a home.

Not everyone gets as lucky as we did.

Gather round its wholesome post time.

I cop the spotlight but the lady behind raptor towing deserves the love too...

From doing parts runs, invoicing, servicing, loading, unloading as well as raising 2 kids while im on the road theres no business without Holly Rose

Fun fact is wifey loves my impulsive purchases as much as i do but doesnt admit it 😆

When she fell off a horse and shattered her leg and was in a wheelchair she fell into a depression, so i did what anyone would do....

Jumped on marketplace and bought one of her fave cars.... a sh***er r31 shell that we then stripped down and rebuilt together

2 years on from the accident has lost amazing 42kgs and learning to love herself again and currently also building an xr5 turbo .....

In 14 years together holly has probably owned 100 cars herself including wk grange, mx6 turbo, ek civics, b4 liberty, bf fairlane ghia and other cool cars..

When we ran road trains in the territory even used to drive out bush while i had a snooze .

This girls stood by me through all sorts over the years....

Thats why im so confident i can bring home rusted nightmares and get away with it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

May have to make another page for this one as im getting mega motivated on the ab120 project .....

But i also have 5 other old truck builds on the go 😆

Snuck a couple hours in today on the wire wheel and rust converter for some therapy

Now trying to decide whether to run dual rears on it or the split rims ( bottom right an example )

Chasing a good steering rack, sunviser, floor carpet and some other bits if anyone has any spares around

Productive day spent with phone ignored and just some downtime from business tinkering with sh*tboxes 😍

Box swapped out twice because i fitted it and didnt realise the friggin throwout bearing fell down when sliding box in so had to remove and refit it.....
Fun fact....these boxes are heavy as hell.

4x4 linkages all fitted up, everything steam cleaned and greased, floor cover back on and looking like a cab

Officially drove under its own steam today.... now just need to find a steering column as this ones broken at the base then the front can all go on

Its all happening 😍
