There’s nothing quite like the confidence of installing a brand new part after thorough diagnosis…
right up until it creates a whole new problem 😆

This ‘new’ EGR valve had us slightly puzzled…the diesel XC90 actually started running worse.

In the video, you can clearly see the issue - the valve is sticking and has excessive free play, compared to a good functioning valve.

But one thing is certain: a fuel filter should never look like Exhibit A. This one was well overdue for replacement and restricting flow, which can affect performance and put extra strain on the fuel system.

⚠️ Do not Ignore Warning Messages ⚠️

This customer did the right thing, and it’s very lucky they did.

Volvo XC40 2023 B4 mild hybrid electric vehicle (MHEV).

A warning message appeared on the dash after the vehicle scraped a piece of debris on the road— and instead of taking the risk, they brought the vehicle straight in.

We found a badly damaged water pump and water pump belt, which could have quickly led to overheating and severe engine damage.

✅ Issue diagnosed early
✅ Repaired quickly
✅ Major damage avoided

Modern vehicles are designed to warn you before things go wrong — ignoring them can turn a simple repair into a very expensive one.

If your car is trying to tell you something, it’s always worth getting it checked.
