The difference is in the details. 🔥

Our latest KX500 restoration is getting closer to completion, and we've just fitted the correct fluorescent graphics.

Something most people overlook — or simply don't go to the trouble of sourcing and reproducing properly.

Getting these colours right takes serious effort, but when you're restoring a bike like this, close enough isn't good enough.

Just the seat cover left to paint, and this KX500 is going to be something special.

This beast if filled with nothing but the best Fuchs Silkolene Australasia products. They keep everything cool and lubricated.

Who else thinks the proper fluro colours make all the difference? 👇

Getting the colours right matters.

We’re putting together a 1999 SplitFire KX500 replica kit, and the fluoro tones had to be as close to period-correct as possible. Thanks to we have been able to do that.

This isn’t just a green KX with old-school graphics — the colours, proportions and details are what make the whole replica work.

Proper late-90s factory race-bike energy.

Fresh out of the workshop — magnesium KHI calipers.

The kind of detail most people will never notice… but the right people absolutely will.

Recreated in magnesium to capture that unmistakable factory race-bike look, right down to the material and finish.

This is the level we’re chasing with our builds — not just restored. Recreated properly.

Would you run these on your build?

Making a CR500 engine fit is the easy part. Making it fit properly is where the work starts.

Developing and testing the forward engine mounts for our 1992 Suzuki RM250 / CR500 conversion.

Engine position, alignment, clearance and load paths all have to be right before anything gets signed off for final manufacture.

Prototype. Fit. Measure. Test. Refine.

No guesswork when you’re putting CR500 power into a chassis that was never designed for it.

This is the part of the build most people never see.

1984 Honda CR500 — pre-restoration start up.

Before the teardown begins, we wanted to capture the bike exactly as it arrived and hear it run one last time in original unrestored form.

This one is heading into a full Garage Eleven restoration, with the focus on preserving the character, details and presence that made Honda’s early open-class machines so iconic.

A proper piece of motocross history, about to begin its next chapter.

Not many of these get built. 2010 KX500AF, running custom triple clamps. Final fitment of the radiators and muffler is all that's left.

90s Honda CR graphics just looked better.

Bold colours, loud patterns and absolutely zero interest in being subtle — exactly how motocross should look.

Which era had the best CR graphics: early, mid or late 90s?

She runs 🔥 2010 KX500AF back from the dead after undoing someone else's botched conversion. Jetting's finally dialed.
