VR clubsport on the dyno this week.
Came in not running and had a few issues to sought through.
1st was clean the plugs as they werent good just to try get it running.
Next was scan and diagnosis.
Found why its was runing so rich.
Dead coolant temp sensor.
Changed it out and checked it was reading correctly.
Next got it running and verified timing.
Injectors were also suspect as it just wasnt 100% so they were removed and sure enough bit of crap in the filters.
Had the injectors ultrasonic cleaned
and had new filters and orings installled.
While those were getting done i soughted the fuel sender.
It had been clocked wrong so didnt read correctly.
Also found kinked return hose and wrong size 3/8 hose on 5/16 fitting.
So replaced with proper 5/16 efi hose and clamps.
Fixed the pump install.
Fixed cluster sender. Fitted new sender and fixed the plug as it was super loose.
Next fixed the lights in the cluster which turned out to be a couple fuses.
Reco injectors back in.
New set of ngk plugs and began tuning.
Ended up getting the car to behave and ended up with 193rwkw.
Engine specs
304ci
Flat tops
230@50 ish cam
Std injectors
4l60e , stall converter i think 3000 rpm
3.08 gears.
Has a twin 2.5 into single 3" system
Twin hi flow cats a pacemaker headers.
Really good result with 304ci and stock manifold.
Tuned with the factory delco ecu.
