Harness Master Wiring Systems Welcome to Harness Master Wiring Systems' Official page! We also have branch offices in New South Wales and Queensland.

Here you can connect with our team of experts, keep up to date with the latest company information, and be the first to be informed of new products. Harness Master Wiring Systems (HMWS) was established in 2006 to service a niche market for electrical wiring harnesses, installation kits and lighting bars for mining, automotive, and transport applications. At Harness Master Wiring Systems we offer d

esign and development, manufacturing and, if required, installation services for all electrical wiring systems on light and heavy vehicles. We also supply all accessories including switches, lights, and beacons as well as jump start receptacles and e-stops. Harness Master Wiring Systems is a wholly owned West Australian company and our Australian plant and head office is based in Perth with sales, design, manufacturing and installation capabilities thus giving a strong local support presence for our clients. Harness Master Wiring Systems own plants in Australia and the Philippines, staffed by skilled engineers with many years of industry experience. Our local and global presence allows us to be responsive and understand your needs while remaining competitive. Instant engineering and prototyping is one of our specialities, and we can have you project ready in record time. We are happy to do large or small production runs, and to supply standardised or custom solutions as needed. While we started out making wiring harnesses, we also produce brackets, enclosures, lighting solutions and complete kits and we can produce and supply all engineering and schematic drawings when required. We are currently the specified supplier to Rio Tinto for all their on-site light and heavy vehicles. We also supply our products in quantity to BHP and Westrac.

At HMWS, we combine automated co axial striping with in house testing and certification across both co axial and Ethernet assemblies.

Every cable we process and manufacture is built for continuity, performance, signal integrity, and is thoroughly inspected to ensure potential issues are identified early rather than discovered in the field.

This capability is further enhanced with overmoulded protection designed to withstand vibration, contamination, and mechanical stress, helping extend service life in heavy industrial applications.

A small addition to our office, but one that says a lot about who we are.

Our new world clocks represent the regions where HMWS operates, reminding us every day of the global partnerships and clients we're proud to support.

Working across time zones keeps us connected, strengthens collaboration, and reflects the people and relationships that make HMWS a truly global business.

Heat, vibration, moisture and chemicals wear a system down over time, gradually, until something gives at exactly the wrong moment.

And when it does, it's rarely the wire itself that's the problem. It's everything around it: the insulation that's been abrading under load, the conductors that have been shifting under vibration, the points where contamination has been finding its way in over hundreds of operating hours.

This is the problem HMWS's overbraiding process is built to solve. By locking conductors in place and reducing internal movement, we cut down the wear that leads to premature failure in high-vibration applications. Combined with high-grade PVC-coated nylon yarns, our harnesses are designed to handle what mining, heavy transport and industrial environments throw at them every single day, including oil, dirt, moisture, heat and everything in between.

The result is a harness that's more resistant to contamination, more flexible and easier to install, and built to last longer between service intervals. In industries where a machine sitting idle costs real money, that's not a small thing.

Built for the environments where reliability isn't optional.

At HMWS, we design overmolded cable assemblies built for tough environments.

Each unit is fully sealed, with the cable, connector and housing fused into one IP-rated structure.

By eliminating mechanical joins, overmolding eliminates common failure points and creates a seamless barrier against water, chemicals, vibration, and wear.

If your current setup relies on frequent maintenance or field terminations, it might be time to upgrade to a more reliable solution.

At HMWS, IP ratings aren’t just a technical detail, they’re a guide to building products that last in real-world conditions.

In industrial environments, dust, moisture, water, and debris can quickly impact performance if components aren’t properly protected, leading to more maintenance, downtime, and reduced lifespan.

That’s why our wiring systems, connectors, and assemblies are designed with the right level of ingress protection in mind, ensuring reliable performance where it matters most.

If you’re unsure what protection level you need, our team is here to help.
