September's come to an end, so we're unlacing the runners and reflecting on what we managed to achieve last month.

This year, FleetPartners once again took on Steptember to raise funds for children and babies living with cerebral palsy and the families who support them. Together, we clocked up millions of steps and raised over $32,000 for an incredibly important cause.

If you've been considering a premium electric vehicle through a novated lease and want to access the maximum potential tax savings, the clock is ticking.

From 1 April 2027, the government's EV FBT exemption criteria narrows. EVs priced between $75,000 and the luxury car tax threshold will move from a full exemption to a 25% discount on payable FBT, which can make a meaningful difference to your take-home pay over the life of a lease.

Here's the important bit: the exemption is locked in at your delivery date, not when you sign your lease agreement. Sign in February 2027, take delivery in May 2027, and you fall under the new rules. With delivery times of up to six months for many popular models, the window to act is getting narrower.
