How’s this Oil pump that Ford put in the 2.2 & 3.2 Ranger it’s a variable vane pump not bad for fuel, this is why you get a certain time to do an oil change because they drain the oil out when there is nothing in sump. This one fell apart as well, we replaced it with a gear pump all problems solved. The engineers at Ford had a few letters after their names that picked this one to use, commonly known as over educated f**k wits no street sense at all didn’t they test them
