Hi All,
Now We don't like to be a rule giver but being the interest in CQ Meets Rockhampton has grown beyond our dreams and expectations.
We thought that we would re-remind those who’ve been with us from the beginning, and advise those who’ve just found us, that
We do have a couple of simple rules we’d like all to abide by when attending our events.
1. Speed limits within the car park, please keep to an absolute minimum. This allows us to avoid collisions in the car park while cars are parking or leaving the event. This also allows parents/attendees to feel at ease they don’t have to constantly be looking over their shoulders for speedy cars while mingling/ checking out others cars.
2. Following the traffic management plan system that's in place while our Automotive meet are happening. Maps in place on this post.
3. Touching of vehicles. Parents/Attendees needs to be mindful and respectful of all vehicles 2 or 4 wheels that attend our events, so please if it’s not yours do not touch unless advised otherwise by the owner and parents be mindful of children running between/ around vehicles.
4. Entering/Leaving the events. Our community once a month Automotive meet has grown beyond our expectations and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
So on that note We remind everyone that unfortunately it only takes ONE to ruin it for ALL when the law is involved so there is a certain time and place for antics (you all know I’m a big kid at heart so this goes for me too 😂), but if we are seen coming or going from an event the size ours has grown to the attention brought upon the group by this behaviour can cause detrimental outcomes for ALL and I wish for that to never happen.
This is a family event, so we encourage all enthusiasts to bring their families/ friends along for the fun of the evening. That’s why we chose the Autobarn’s complex as our location. It’s central, it’s caters for dinner options and shops close by.
