1978 Mercedes-Benz 280CE W123. $36,950.

The W123 is the best selling Mercedes ever built, but the pillarless coupe is a different story entirely. Only around 100,000 were made against 2.7 million sedans, and drop all four windows and there’s no B-pillar at all.

If a car turns up with a major problem, it goes straight back.
