What started as a “quick pulley replacement” on this VY Commodore turned into one of those jobs that makes you question how it was still driving 😳
The idler pulley had worn down to basically the size of a 20 cent piece, the belt was completely shredded, and to top it off the crank angle sensor had been chewed out so badly it wore an entire notch into it 🤯

This is exactly why consistent upkeep and regular servicing are so important. Having your vehicle checked over routinely can pick up issues before they turn into major failures like this saving you from bigger repair bills, breakdowns, and potential engine damage 🚗🔧

Safe to say this one was hanging on by a thread before we got to it, but another roadside rescue sorted by the team at Manifolds & Mullets Mechanical 🩵
