At HART, our instructors spend their days helping riders build confidence, skills and safety on the road… however, every now and then, they swap the usual riding gear for something a little more distinguished.

Recently, some of the team took part in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride — dressing sharp (and yes, even kilts!) to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

While kilts might not be part of our everyday riding kit, supporting great causes absolutely is. Proud of our crew for getting involved and making a difference. 🏍️

🏍“Are you rider ready? 🌦

Here at HART we provide you with all the right gear throughout your course. You'll be provided with gloves, knee guards, helmet, and motorcycle jacket.

However, we do ask all students to come prepared wearing closed toe shoes (boots or runners are fine), long pants (no rips or holes), short or long sleeve shirt. We suggest no steel capped boots as it can make feeling the gears difficult.

Do you have your own gear? Please check the VicRoads website to ensure your gear passes the Victorian motorcycle gear safety standards.

HART courses go ahead, rain or shine to give riders the best chance at learning in every condition and every element. We can’t control the weather, but we can control how we prepare.”
