Future Sport Motorcycles has been locally owned and family run since 1991. Owner Steve Koppe started young with a passion for motorcycles and developing the motorcycle racing scene in Townsville and then moving onto a successful career in Speedway. He was North Queensland solo champion for five consecutive seasons and was to win several caps for his country, including the 1974-75 test series again
