Brodie's off to the USA!

A last minute plan has kicked in for Brodie to head stateside to complete some engine preparation tasks for next season to ensure we are ready to go come September.

We have also been lucky enough to gain a drive to add to the trip! Brodie will kick off with 3 races in South Dakota, teaming up with good buddy Andy Pake!

"Its going to be a tight timeline, we land at 9am in Omaha, then have to drive 8 hours north to put the final preparations on the car ready to race 3 hours drive away the next day. It will be the first of 3 nights in a row. Its awesome to get to go racing with my buddy Andy and his dad and I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity. We will get through these first few nights and I will talk to some people local to where Ill be based near Lincoln NE and we will see what other opportunities arise. Knoxville would be cool to run for a night or even 305 at Eagle Raceway as thats a track I consider to be one of the best tracks in the world. I have some tasks to take care of but open to racing any sprintcar class I can whilst Im there.

A massive thanks to Zach Woods and his family for having me. As well as all our long time friends in that area of the world for always helping me out. It will be great to catch up with everyone.

Brodie last raced in the USA in 2019 for The Flying Scotsman Bucketlist Tour scoring a few top 5 finishes racing with long time friend Jack Dover.

Some exciting news to announce very shortly.

For now, its full steam ahead with a 360 car build in readiness for North Queensland.

We also have the frame up for the new Mez. As our valued customers would know, we are always chock a block here at HQ. Now we are going up! This should allow us to get some bully items out of the way so we can keep turning around our customers cars and builds!

❓What is a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation Application❓

🔹Because the proposed Moreton Motorsport Park is considered to be ‘community supporting infrastructure’ as it is a sporting facility, the proposal is able to be considered as a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation, or MID.

🔹The MID process provides an alternative process for lodging a development application with Local Government. The process is managed by the State Government (Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning) with input from other government agencies. Ultimately, the planning minister is responsible for making MID decisions.

🔹As part of the MID process, the MMP team has undertaken comprehensive surveys, modelling and reporting in relation to potential impacts, including noise, environmental and traffic. The team has also undertaken a detailed analysis into the community and economic need for the facility and the benefits which will flow from it. This information is provided on the MID portal for review, during the public consultation process.

P9 in the QLD Title Feature race at Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway.

Thats a wrap for our season. Special thanks Raymond Michell and the entire RJM Motorsports team. Its been special and heart warming to team up and run the blue 12 this season. Truly thankful for the opportunity.

Massive thank you to all my team for their tireless efforts during the season. Busy would be an understatement, with how many cars we prepare but we always get it done. Time for a break and some well earned family time for you all.

The most important and biggest task of all is carried out by Donna looking after our girls and the house. Without that, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. Words can't express the gratitude I have for everything that you do for us all.

Theres a lot of sacrifices involved in racing, we will reflect on the season and where we are at to plan moving forward.

Appreciation post time!

When you calculate the number of cars we take to events each season, the actual race count collectively is sometimes 3 to 4 times as many as most average teams. Thats a lot of washing and servicing. But what is not always seen is the number of new car builds and unfortunate rebuilds from that part of racing we dont like to think about - crashing.

Professional presentation is important for raising the profile of our sport. Both visually and mechanically. We have a hard working dedicated crew here but we wouldn't be able to complete the tasks without the exceptional services provided by 2 of our business associates: Brad Hilder & BHR Fabrications and Tj Horne & HORNE Motorsport Repairs.
