Salt corrosion rarely causes immediate failure. It quietly eats away at fittings, wiring and brakes — then shows up months later.

To help prevent it:

✔️ Rinse the underbody after beach trips
✔️ Pay attention to brakes & wiring
✔️ Use corrosion protection where it counts
✔️ Get regular inspections if you beach drive often.
