You keep telling yourself, “One more trip.”

One more load.
One more late night.
One more week before the service.

Then the truck starts talking back. A warning light. A leak. A noise you can’t ignore anymore.

So you call us.

We open up a same-day booking, get the truck straight in, and do everything we can to have it back working that afternoon.

very cold morning, the Mitsubishi Fuso was hard to start.

Not every now and then.
Every morning.

The batteries were good.
The starter was turning it over.

But something still wasn't right.

So we dug a little deeper.

The culprit?

A seized EGR valve that was allowing exhaust gases through all the time, even when it shouldn't.

That extra exhaust flow was affecting the engine's ability to start properly when cold.

We replaced the faulty EGR valve, checked everything else while we were there, and sent the truck back out.

Next cold morning?

Started exactly how it should.

Wondering what a Main Roads Roadworthy Accreditation check actually involves?

It's six categories — driveline, electrical, bodywork, chassis and suspension, brakes, and tyres / rims. Each one has its own catch-points. Weeping shocks. Wet diff seals dropping oil. Speed limiter not set to 100.
Blocked washer nozzles. Cracked rims. Air leaks on the foot brake. Pedal pads worn through.

We work through all of it. Best time to get it done? Bundled with your B service — most of the work overlaps anyway.

Call today to book in - same day truck services available.

We service and repair all makes and models of trucks including Kenworth, Scania, Western Star, Volvo, Mack, Mercedes, Hino, Isuzu and Mitsubishi.

You asked, we listened — Saturday bookings are now open! 🎉

We get it. Getting your truck in for a service is never simple.

Take a day off during the week and you're losing a day's work. Push it to the weekend and you're losing family time. Neither feels great.

So we did something about it.

From now on, you can book your truck in on a Saturday — keep your weekdays earning, and get the job sorted without giving up the time that matters most.

Same workshop, same crew, same honest service. Just a day that actually works for you.

Because looking after your truck shouldn't mean choosing between your livelihood and your loved ones. And we reckon that's a choice you should never have to make.

Coolant leaks have a habit of turning a good day into a bad one.

One minute you're driving along.
The next you're watching the temperature gauge climb, smelling hot coolant, and wondering if you're going to make it to your destination.

The problem is that coolant leaks rarely fix themselves.

Keep driving and what starts as a small leak can quickly become overheating, a roadside breakdown, or even major engine damage.

If you ever smell hot coolant, notice the coolant level dropping, or see signs of a leak, don't ignore it.

Get it checked before it leaves you stranded.

Prevent the breakdown before it happens.

A Mitsubishi Fuso rolled into our workshop last week for a B service. The owner mentioned hard starts on cold mornings. Did the walk-around, noticed exhaust leaks around the EGR valve, and the laptop showed a stack of fault codes for the EGR system.

Pulled the valve off. Should flick on a spring — this one was seized open. With the valve stuck open, exhaust gases were running through the engine the whole time and it couldn't get warm enough to fire cleanly on a cold morning.

If your truck's hard to start when the temperature drops, those little symptoms are usually a clue. We don’t just throw parts at things we diagnose them so you know you are getting the correct repair.

– Check oil, coolant, lights
– Safety procedures around a vehicle
– Time on your own car and on other vehicles
– Hands-on: pump up tyres, change a tyre, change a battery, change wipers
– Grazing platter for lunch

It's not a slideshow. You put hands on. You leave knowing what to do.

A water pump is one of the cheapest parts on a heavy diesel — and one of the most expensive when you let it fail on you.

Its job is simple. A little impeller spins, coolant moves, the engine stays cool. The moment that loop stops, heat builds fast — and a $400 pump can turn into a $14,000 head job in a single afternoon on the highway.

The good news is, water pumps almost always warn you first. Four signs we tell every owner-driver and fleet manager to watch for:
1. Temp gauge creeping up where it didn't used to.
2. Coolant drips from the underside of the pump — there's a 'tell-tale' hole there by design, weeping coolant when the seal starts to go.
3. A whine or low rumble from the front of the engine that gets louder as it warms up.
4. A fan belt that's turned shiny with curled edges — the pump's bearing is dragging and the belt is slipping.

Any one of those is enough to book it in. Two of them, and you should already be at the workshop.
