ent countries also. But in 2002 due to Government restriction and understanding social responsibility Bari Plastics was expired. After that one of the director of Bari Plastic, K. Alamgir Iqbal started his business again. But this time due to social responsibility and business ethics, he started Samrat Industries to making Plastic furniture and household products. It was established by Lily Khan, wife of Amzad Khan in 1965 with 4 Japanese Toshiba machine as the first factory in East Pakistan to fulfill the demand of uPVC Pipe. In 2005 Government of Bangladesh wants to go for privatization for this sector. At that time it was purchased by K. Alamgir Iqbal , Managing Director of LIRA SAMRAT GROUP. After joining as a sister concern of LIRA SAMRAT GROUP, Lira Industrial Enterprise Ltd. is increasing its market share and trying to fulfill the customer’s demand by providing quality products. To satisfy the increasing demand of customer, it was necessary to expand the factory and introduce some PVC mould fittings. The premise of LIRA INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE LTD. is not sufficient to introduce a new plant. For this it was necessary to expand the PVC mould fittings into MAONA and it is inaugurated as LIRA POLYMER INDUSTRIES LTD. As a new plant, it is now a great source of employment and it is providing quality of PVC mould fittings to customers. As a result the product variation is also increasing day by day. Lira Samrat Group has a strong supply chain and highly skilled management and production team and a wide marketing Network. The production team is producing the quality product and Quality Control Department is working to maintain the quality. The marketing team is scattered in 64 districts of Bangladesh.
