How BD adds clutch capacity to the 66RFE 🔧

In the BD Roadmaster 66RFE, the factory underdrive/overdrive pressure plate is swapped for the thicker 68RFE plate, which makes room for the added frictions. The top overdrive/reverse pressure plate is the same between the two. The result is 68RFE-level clutch capacity behind the Ram 6.4L or 5.7L Hemi.

The new D&J Essential and Precision Plus Long Blocks for 2011–2016 6.6L Duramax trucks are in stock and ready to ship. Every engine is torn down, CNC machined, rebuilt, and tested in-house before it leaves the shop, so it’s ready for daily driving and towing.

Every D&J LML long block gets:
✅ CNC blueprinted, bored, honed, and deck surfaced
✅ New OEM-spec Tier 1 pistons and rings
✅ Remanufactured heads with L5P top-hat valve stem seals
✅ Keyed crankshaft and camshaft
✅ In-house RMC engine testing before shipment

Precision Plus adds:
✅ ARP head studs and MLS head gaskets
✅ Upgraded L5P oil cooler
✅ Pinned oil pump
✅ Rocker boxes, valve covers, and intake manifold included
✅ Complete rotating assembly: harmonic balancer, flywheel, and flex plate
