With the advanced technology of partial press hardening, KIRCHHOFF Automotive is able to produce steel products with different strength ranges and thus weight- and crash-optimized body components. Many car manufacturers today have complex structural parts for the body-in-white made in hybrid design - Combinations of steel-aluminum or metal-plastic - developed by us and manufactured worldwide. A global production network with the core technologies of forming, joining, lightweight construction and surface treatment ensures uniform manufacturing and production standards. Products such as crash management systems, front-end frames and cross-members are assembled into a wide variety of components in JIT plants in close proximity to customers. The family-owned company, which has existed since 1785, is part of today's KIRCHHOFF Group, which is made up of the Automotive, Ecotec, Mobility and WITTE Tools divisions. With more than 8,000 employees and 27 production plants in 11 countries, KIRCHHOFF Automotive represents the largest division in the group.

What started as an internship in 2020 in has developed into a strong and steady career path at KIRCHHOFF Automotive.

During his studies in Industrial Engineering and Management, Luis Franco joined our team and quickly gained hands-on insights into our processes.

Taking on more early on, he continued his journey in the quality area, working closely with customers, supporting production on site and collaborating across international teams.

🚀🌍 Expanding our supplier network in the !

Strengthening resilient supply chains and building strong regional partnerships remains a key focus for KIRCHHOFF Automotive. At the Interconnect B2B Matchmaking Conference 2026 in , our Procurement team engaged with a broad range of suppliers from Serbia and across the Balkan region.

The event provided a valuable platform to deepen existing relationships and explore new opportunities. Building on positive experience from previous supplier initiatives in the region, the focus was on identifying partners that combine know-how with reliable and scalable capabilities.

🌍✨ New entrance area in !

The entrance area in our Attendorn plant has been completely redesigned and now presents our company in a clear and modern way. A warm, wood-inspired design creates an open and welcoming atmosphere that reflects our presence and brings different elements of the space together.

At the center, a globe featuring employees from our sites worldwide makes one thing visible at first glance: collaboration across regions is a key part of how we work. At the same time, the presentation of our company has been fully rethought.

Three large screens guide visitors through the most important phases of our development in a connected story:

💪🌅 209 km of and endurance

Two teams from our Hungarian colleagues took on the relay around Lake Balaton and finished stronger than expected.

Over nearly 209 km, they ran day and night through changing conditions and demanding stages. What made the difference was not just physical strength, but true team coordination and commitment.

🏃 2 teams completed the full 209 km relay
⏱ Both teams finished ahead of their planned time
🌡 High temperatures by day and cold conditions at night

From early morning stretches to night sections and sunrise runs along the lake, every kilometer required focus, resilience and trust in each other. Many pushed beyond their personal limits and achieved new along the way.

We are proud of the outstanding performance and team spirit shown by our colleagues. Events like this show what teamwork really means in practice!

With an increased overall score from 72 to 74 points, the latest assessment highlights our continuous and systematic progress in sustainability.

Despite increasingly demanding evaluation criteria, improvements were achieved across all four areas assessed:

🌳✨ Creating something meaningful together

At our site, colleagues and their families took part in a KIRCHHOFF Culture Life event that focused on creativity and shared values.

Together, they created a large steel sculpture made up of many individually designed elements.

At the heart of the is a familiar symbol at KIRCHHOFF Automotive. Trees formed from numerous steel leaves, coming together as one strong whole.

What the sculpture stands for:

🌟When and Tradition Came Together

The 20th anniversary event at our plant in brought colleagues, partners and guests together to look back on two decades of development, teamwork and shared success.

The program highlighted the connection between tradition and progress that defines the site today: Modern robotic technology appeared alongside traditional lion dances during the celebration.

Beyond the ceremony itself, the event was shaped by many personal conversations, moments of laughter and a strong sense of .

It reflected not only what has been achieved over the past 20 years, but also the motivation and commitment that continue to drive the site forward.
