A lot has been going on around the shop over the last few months. We're very blessed to have the clients we do and the opportunity to chase our passion! Being diversified has really kept us locked in. One week it’s a 1930s John Deere or an engine rebuild on an LS, and the next we're fixing a fuel truck out at the airport. Keeps us thinking, keeps us growing 💪. Thank you all!

What You’ll Be Doing

-Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment
-Working with both automotive and heavy-duty systems (experience in either or both is welcome!)
-Troubleshooting complex issues and working with a supportive crew to find the best solutions
-Operating heavy equipment as needed

What We’re Looking For:

-Solid experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
-Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right
-Journeyman ticket is an asset, but we’re also open to experienced 3-4 yr apprentices
-A great attitude and willingness to be part of a solid, supportive team

Saturdays Street Car Grudge Class will now have a 1st place $2000 payout… PLUS all the additional $40 grudge entry fees will be thrown into the pot… AND you still get a custom Gear Grabbers cooler!

Sundays open grudge class winner will receive all the $40 entry fees and a custom cooler!

Of course we still have our bracket classes (and yes you can enter both grudge and bracket if you’d like) but for those of you who want to do some heads up racing on a VERY challenging airport surface or just get in extra hits, this is your chance!

As we have seen in the last few years of running grudge class… it’s not always the lightest car, or the guy with the most HP that wins. We prep the lanes to the best of our abilities but due to the type of surface at the Bonnyville airstrip it can be a real challenge to put horsepower down!

RULES:

SATURDAY July 5th STREET LEGAL GRUDGE
-Tagged/Registered Vehicles Only. No other restrictions... Small tire, big tire, forced induction, NA, we don’t care!
-Must make a quick cruise with your race vehicle into Bonnyville and take a photo in front of our two lane sponsors (NAPA & Overdrive HD). This is approx. a 13km round trip... All paved. We encourage you to make the cruise Friday evening after our Show & Shine or time will be allotted Saturday morning. Photo must be posted on our page or shown to our Racemaster prior to entering grudge.
-1st place winner receives $2000 cash, PLUS all the $40 grudge entry fees, AND a custom cooler.

SUNDAY July 6th OPEN CLASS GRUDGE
-Anything and everything goes. (Chassis cars, street cars, altered, etc etc)
-Street cars are welcome to take a shot at the big boys!
-1st place winner receives a custom cooler AND all the $40 entry fees.

GENERAL RULES FOR BOTH DAYS
-.400 pro tree
-“heads up” even start
-1/8th Mile
-NO CRY BABIES 😉
-Chip draws for pairings.
-1st place prize for the winner of each day

$40 entry( per day) on top of the standard $60 (per day) event entry fee will apply to enter Grudge…. Keep in mind you can still race in the bracket classes!

Another intrusive job completed today. Client concern being lack of steering input and drive motor control response. We like to find the “smoking gun” when it comes to a concern. This dual axial piston pump and gear charge pump assembly were removed, disassembled and inspected. Failure concern located; swash plate bearing failure and one circuit relief valve had been broken. This pump was repaired, resealed and put back into action.
