The MTO is reviewing plans that could relocate the Bekanon Road interchange, a move that would impact residents, cottagers, truckers, emergency services, and every traveler on Highway 69. 🦊 Tiffany to the Rescue! 🦊
​Earlier today, our staff member Tiffany spotted this little fox kit on Hwy 522 after he had unfortunately been struck by a car.
​She safely secured him and is currently on her way to Rosseau to drop him off with the amazing team at Aspen Wildlife Sanctuary for professional care and treatment.
​We are so proud to have compassionate team members like Tiffany who step up when our local wildlife needs it most! Drive safe, Tiffany, and get well soon, little guy. 🌲🚗🐾

Update from Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary:
Although the baby fox’s injuries were too severe and he passed away later that night, the sanctuary shared that he spent his final moments in a safe, pain‑free, and compassionate environment. They thanked Tiffany for her kindness and quick action in bringing him all the way from Britt to Rosseau. Her effort gave the little fox a chance and showed what true care for wildlife looks like. 💚
Taking action makes a difference, thank you to everyone who cares about helping wildlife in need.
