The Story Behind Our Logo
Today, we’d like to share the story behind the Excel Trailers logo.
Our logo was created during the rebranding of Excel Trailers in 2023. Since then, it has become a recognizable symbol across Calgary and represents our commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous growth.
The logo was designed through a collaboration between our founder, Roman Yosyfiv, and his close friend, Oleksandr Lyaluk. Both are originally from Ukraine and came to Canada seeking new opportunities for themselves and their families.
Since arriving in Canada, they have worked tirelessly to build their careers, support their communities, and contribute to the country that welcomed them. Their entrepreneurial spirit, determination, and belief in hard work became the foundation of the logo’s meaning.
This year has been especially significant for both of them. Roman completed his first 10K race, while Oleksandr achieved an even bigger milestone by completing his first marathon . Those accomplishments reflect the same values that inspired the logo years ago—perseverance, discipline, resilience, and the courage to keep moving forward.
The logo itself is more than a company symbol. It represents a journey of friendship, hard work, and the pursuit of opportunity. Much like a marathon, building a business is not a sprint—it requires patience, commitment, and the determination to keep going even when the road gets challenging.
At Excel Trailers, we believe we are still at the beginning of our marathon. We are excited for the journey ahead and grateful for the customers, partners, employees, and community members who continue to support us along the way.
