I had the opportunity to speak on QR Calgary Morning Show about the discussion surrounding Alberta's driver knowledge test.
As a driving instructor, my perspective comes from working with hundreds of new drivers every year.
My belief is simple: safer roads come from better driver education—not just the language used on a written test.
Whether someone is born in Canada or comes from another country, every new driver benefits from quality instruction, supervised practice, and strong road testing. In my experience, many drivers—even native English speakers—forget the rules over time. That's why practical training is so important.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my perspective and to advocate for safer roads for everyone in Alberta.
