Heads up Richmond drivers! The City of Richmond is rolling out new 30 km/h speed limits on local residential roads citywide. New signs are going up over the next few months, and the lower limits are effective the moment they are posted. Keep in mind that major arterial routes (like Westminster Hwy, Granville Ave, and River Road) will remain at 50 km/h.

Watch for new signage, slow down in residential neighbourhoods, and help keep community streets safe for pedestrians and cyclists.
