Most people think bringing a travel trailer into NYC and parking just 5 miles from Times Square sounds absolutely insane. But after 10 years of living this lifestyle, we’ve learned that sometimes the best way to explore a city is to bring your home with you!

In this video, we’re showing you what it’s REALLY like to boondock in the Big Apple with our Escape Trailer. From finding a place to park and dealing with traffic noise to managing solar power, water, and parking restrictions, we’re sharing the tricks that make city docking possible.

No campground. No hookups. No problem? Well… there are a few things to consider!

The beauty of our Escape Trailer is that everything we need is right inside- our bed, kitchen, bathroom, and power system without needing to put out slides or set up an entire campsite. We can explore one of the busiest cities in the world and still come home to our own little space.
