The team had a great night on Friday until we had to pit with a flat tire- we did make it back out after losing a lot of laps to finish the race landing ourselves 21st of a field of 24.

Scott’s excited to climb into the car each race sporting the new logo on our hood- welcoming our main sponsor Cape Smokey and Martock !

Cape Smokey has some some amazing summer activities- We know some of our team members can’t wait to hit some of their trails this summer, ride on the gondola and take in the amazing views and maybe even hammer a penny into a wishing tree!

We are looking forward to racing with them front and center on our hood for the 2026 season!

2025 Point Finish: Seventh
2025 Best Feature Finish: Second (United Mortgage Alliance Night)

Driving for Mason Motorsports in the iconic No. 96 car, Scott O'Neill returns to the seat of a Late Model looking for his first feature win in the class in 2026.

Scott was in the thick of the point chase in 2025, finishing seventh, only nine points ahead of tenth in the standings. His second place finish came late in 2025 on September 12th and was a part of seven top five finishes during the point season. Of note, Scott captured four heat race victories, the most of any driver in the Sportsman class last season.

He and the team continue to find speed with every lap and are a contender in the top division of the Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series.

Their quest for a championship in 2026 begins on Saturday, May 16th at 2pm with the Bay Equipment Rentals & Sales Season Opener!

The team has been working hard over the winter break grinding the gears to get the car ready for the 2026 season! ⚙️🧰🔧

We are excited to race over a dozen races this summer in the weekly sportsman series 🏁 We ended last season with 7 top 5 finishes and 4 heat race wins and 7th in points overall! It was a fantastic season for the team!

The car is getting ready for some paint and then we will be ready to head to the track.
