For the past several months we've been quietly working on a project that means a lot to us.
Meet Ritchie – our 2005 Peterbilt 379, built right here in Fort Macleod, for Fort Macleod.
This truck wasn't built in one shop. It was built by a community.
A huge thank you to the local businesses that helped bring this project to life:
• LF Truck Centre – truck parts and support & design ideas
• Fort Macleod NAPA – countless parts and supplies
• Vanee Livestock – helping source parts we needed
• MoBoots Ag – mechanical repairs, and commercial inspection
• Mac Auto – the sharp decals that finished it off
• Larson's Tire – tire sales and service
• Falcan Industries – custom fabrication, powder coating and finishing touches
• Crazy Stitch – custom interior details
Every one of these local businesses played a part in getting Ritchie ready for work, and we're proud that so much of this truck was built using local talent and local suppliers.
The timing couldn't have been better—Ritchie is finished just in time for the Rafter 13 Big Truck Jamboree, and we can't wait to show everyone what we've been working on.
Behind the classic Peterbilt look is a purpose-built heavy haul and recovery unit paired with our Landoll 610 sliding axle trailer, giving us the ability to safely move a wide range of equipment throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
With this combination we can now offer:
