Mikayla a proud Canadian
🇨🇦 WHEN PEOPLE STOP LISTENING, PEOPLE START SPEAKING LOUDER
This is not about one woman.
This is about what happens when people feel ignored.
Mikayla says she tried everything:
Letters.
Emails.
Protests.
Recalls.
Petitions.
Speaking out.
She used the democratic tools available to her.
But when those efforts continued to go unanswered, she decided that if the Premier would not listen to the voices of Albertans from a distance
she would hear one of those voices face-to-face.
That moment has sparked a lot of debate.
But one thing cannot be denied:
Mikayla was not silent.
She was not sitting back and waiting for someone else to fight for the Alberta she believes in.
She was standing up against:
❌ Separatism and division
❌ The targeting of newcomers
❌ Cuts affecting vulnerable Albertans
❌ The misuse of political power
❌ The erosion of trust in government
❌ The idea that ordinary citizens should simply stay quiet
You do not have to agree with every protest.
You do not have to agree with every tactic.
But a democracy becomes dangerous when citizens believe that speaking up is pointless.
Canada was not built by people who stayed silent.
And Alberta should not be surrendered to those who believe division is the only path forward.
🇨🇦 We can disagree without destroying the country we share.
🇨🇦 We can challenge our leaders without abandoning democracy.
🇨🇦 We can stand up for Alberta while standing proudly for Canada.
No one is safe until we are all safe.
Canada is not for sale.
