GVWR and payload are NOT the same thing. 👀

GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) is the maximum allowable weight of your trailer, including the trailer itself and everything you’re hauling.

Payload is how much weight you can actually load onto that trailer.

Here’s where it matters. Two trailers can have the exact same GVWR, but the lighter trailer can offer more payload.

That’s why we focus on strength-to-weight ratio. Less unnecessary trailer weight means more capacity for the load you’re hauling.
