⭐️ Meet the 2026 work crew ⭐️

We’re pretty proud of this hard working bunch. Ages 13,15,15,16 & 22. This is Garret’s 5th year with us.
In our 17 years in business we have always employed local youth and always will!
Typically we hire 1 or 2 students to help get us through the summer months. This year we have 3 full-time summer staff plus 2 teenagers of our own!

HERE’S WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP LETHBRIDGE AND AREA…

Come buy a bag of firewood. Help us to keep them employed all summer. Or even a bundle or 2 of oak. Every sale helps. Most of them are hoping to buy a vehicle soon, and we’d love to see them get some nice paycheques the next couple months.

We’ve had some summers that have been too slow and we couldn’t quite keep them full time the whole summer. As a small business we do appreciate every sale we make, big or small.

*if you have a youth interested in working next year we’d like to meet them in February. Typically we start working when the weather turns nice in March. Around their school schedule of course.

Every now and then we can get creative when we load our firewood totes. If you have truck with a topper just call ahead and make sure I’m around, not everyone here has my skill level 😎

I (Kim) admit I was wrong 😑
I did not think once a cement pad was poured that it could be moved. Marco proved me wrong.
We are going to be doing a bunch of prep work here for a new shop to bag firewood in. Right now we can only bag firewood when weather permits. With the completion of the new shop we should be able to work year round. (We are open year round, we just have to work double time in the summer to have enough stock to last all winter)

He have about 6 bags of pine that we would like to discount today only. $10 off. The moisture is reading a little higher than it should. If these are bagged right away the moisture level will go down quite a bit and should be ready to burn within the week.

Finally some clear blue skies again. Things are drying out here. Off to deliver some firewood today.

🌧️ Update 💦
So. Much. Water!
Basement flooded, chicken barn flooded, need to get chickens to higher ground. We have all sump pumps and trash pumps going. We have had a total of 6” of rain since Thursday. Who would have thought we needed to light the stove in June? Our work clothes are soaked and we are chilled from being out in this weather.
Good news is, there are no fire bans 😎 and we have dry firewood for you!

2-3/4” of rain and counting. Rest assured all our products are stored indoors and are nice and dry. Lots of stock at all times ready to go.
