First MCP shipment through the "NEW MARKETS" that were just opened is soon to be off to MEXICO !

i thought central / south america would be first.

MEXICO WINS!

i guess thats a lie, South Africa was first, This is the first ever direct shipped order to Mexico or anywhere south of the USA that didn't go through a Florida courier.

Now that i think about it there was a fella in the UK that used the new shipping systems first. but hey, everyone wins.

This is all thanks largely to NOTHING i did, shopify partnered with Global-e solutions to handle the tax and duties for international markets, Global-e partnered with Fed Ex and DHL to provide the secure shipping that is also reasonably priced and it's 1/3 of what it'd be if i did the shipping without Global-e.

its exciting ! MCP is almost everywhere in the western world !

*** UPDATE 2 ***

I've added back Post services for Canada and Australia, I figured out how to test the new shipping system and pose as a customer from any country. The new system works excellent for the USA and great for Europe, The UK and South africa. However, the ppl in Canada and Australia were going to get hosed. SO added back post options for Australia and Canada , had to flat rate australia and live pricing for canada. Issues within canada and from canada to australia are very few. So we'll go with it for now, to keep things as cost effective as possible. Now you have choices at checkout for all available options in these markets.

so now that a few orders have gone through, looks like we are golden. Going to cost the same or less for the most part, a lot less in a lot of cases due to live pricing, and it'll be 3x faster ! Does all the tariffs and taxes automatically.

This is good. Wish i did it a month ago when this program came out. Once i get more comfortable and confident in the new system, will open up a LOT more markets for MCP to go.

It will also be far cheaper when shipping in far away, laces far from us at MCP. (us meaning me, myself and I) lol

Completely redid shipping this morning.

Everything has LIVE rates, calculated by your location and package during check out instead of flat rate services. This should save some people a few $$$ maybe, but will be MUCH quicker service thanks to the rates that global-e and shopify negotiated.

Taxes and duties are now collected for every region world wide automatically and submitted for us by Global-e solutions.

Within Canada only Purolator available, actually pretty reasonable and way faster than post

Outside Canada FED EX or DHL only

added a 5$ handling fee per order (covers packaging and delivery to courier)

Been meaning to do this for a long time, finally got it done after having no other choice really because Canada post has burnt their last bridge with me, i am done with them.

This will be the new standard moving fwds.
