The SunStang Solar Car Project is Western University based student program working towards creating a solar car design that can achieve the highest levels of efficiency. SunStang was founded in 1993 first competing in the World Solar Challenge in Australia, and most recently the World Solar Challenge in 2007. Since then, development of a new more efficient and agile solar car is taking place in or

der to have a stronger Canadian presence at the 2014 American Solar Challenge. The program currently consists of a diverse group of graduate and undergraduate students from faculties including Engineering, Social Science, and the Ivey Business School. This group of talented students are using their knowledge of engineering and business to develop a program with a stronger reputation among the solar car community.
