My Subaru Crosstrek
DEAR SUBARU, Shari | 2026 Crosstrek

Back in early 2026 I was so excited to have a Subaru. A car i talked about getting several weeks beforehand. The dealership i went to was super nice. I traded in my Kia Soul purchased a 2026 Crosstrek that I absolutely loved and told everyone about as it was one of my biggest purchases and achievements.

Sadly at the end of September 2026 after having her for 6 months we were hit head on by a wreckless driver driving on the wrong side of the road. She fell over and slid down a hillside and hit a tree, she didn't roll and Onstar immediately called emergency services. I managed to escape through the moonroof and me, my friend, and my cat (yes my kitty) all survived. The kitty did not need xrays and was perfectly fine. We went to the er to check for any internal injuries and had none, just soreness from the seat belt. Rebecca the Crosstrek saved our lives and I mourned her like she was a dead relative. I will miss her deeply and loved her the 6 months I had her.

-Greeting customers and creating a welcoming first impression
-Answering phones and directing customer inquiries
-Scheduling service appointments and coordinating bookings
-Preparing, submitting, and processing warranty claims
-Assisting our Service and Parts departments with daily administrative tasks
-Maintaining accurate customer records and paperwork
-Supporting the team with general reception and office duties
-Helping ensure our customers receive the exceptional service they deserve!

-A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-The ability to multitask in a busy environment
-Confidence using computers and learning new systems
-Someone dependable, professional, and eager to learn
-Automotive or warranty experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person!

My Subaru saved my kids’ lives

DEAR SUBARU,
September 24, 2026
On September 15th of this year, I got the phone call every parent dreads. My two teenagers were driving themselves to school early that morning when a Chevy Equinox failed to yield and hit them on the front passenger side of their Subaru. The second we got the call, my husband and I rushed to the scene, and I honestly don't think I've ever driven with so many thoughts running through my mind at once. All I could think was, Please let my babies be okay. When we finally arrived, I saw my two kids standing outside the car, talking to the paramedics. I immediately started crying. I was overwhelmed with fear, relief, gratitude, and emotions that are honestly hard to put into words. I looked both of my kids up and down, almost afraid to believe what I was seeing. They were standing there. They were talking. They were okay. Not a single scratch on them—especially my son, considering the impact was on his side of the vehicle. They did have some bumps and bruises, and we know how incredibly lucky we are. Looking at the condition of the car, it is impossible not to think about how much worse this could have been. As a parent, you always hope you will never have to experience something like this. Seeing your child's vehicle destroyed is terrifying, but seeing your children walk away from that wreck is something I will never take for granted. I truly believe that Subaru lived up to its reputation that day. It protected my babies when they needed it most, and for that, I will forever be grateful. ❤️ We will absolutely be buying another Subaru. But more than anything, I am just thankful that on September 15th, we got to take our kids home. The cars can be replaced. The rest is priceless. ❤️🙏 –Lacy – 2019 Subaru Legacy
