This video is to solicit opinions only. I want you to tell me, if you were setting the gear up, what pinion or backlash adjustment you would make. This is a Jeep JL Rubicon rear, 456 0E ring pinion. 2 Cut.
I will post a final pattern later today. And I will leave a little time for all my installer friends out there to put their bets down and see who gets it right. I trust that there are a lot of competent installers out there who will tell me the correct answer. But in the end, I will tell you in the comments.
Set up is finished. To be clear, we are not asking for advice. Just a fun exercise to test your skills.

TERRIBLE gear set up from factory.
This is a 2020 JT Rubicon. This is the front stock 4.10.
Amazing that this didn't fail.
These gears are fine. Just crap set up.

This pattern is already pulled back 0.005" from the original shim. The original pattern from factory set up was STUPID!
This still needs a couple pulled out and less B/L.
BTW, Dodge Ram 1500 9.25 ZF 3.21 Ratio
