537 hp. 700 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

The OMODA 9 is proof that Chery isn’t coming to play around. This PHEV packs serious performance while still offering the efficiency and flexibility many families are looking for.

After spending time behind the wheel in Austria, one thing is clear: OMODA wants to provide a strong offer.

Would you consider an OMODA over more established brands?

The BMW M340d xDrive Touring is the kind of car Europe does so well. Fast, planted, practical, and still efficient on a long drive. After putting it through autobahn runs and mountain roads, it proved why this diesel wagon hits such a sweet spot. Family car, road trip car, and proper driver’s car all in one.

The Nissan Juke Hybrid might not be the first vehicle that comes to mind for an Austrian road trip, but after spending time with it on winding roads and through small villages, it proved why it remains one of the most distinctive compact crossovers on the market.

Its hybrid system keeps fuel consumption low, the styling still turns heads, and it delivers a driving experience that feels more engaging than many rivals in the segment.

Montreal to Toronto behind the wheel of a Volvo V60 Cross Country.

The destination? The unveiling of the all-new EX60. The bonus? A photoshoot and a chance to enjoy one of the last wagons standing.

Sometimes the journey is just as important as the vehicle waiting at the end of it.

Not every hybrid needs to be obsessed with fuel economy.

Could the fuel consumption be better? Absolutely. But after spending time with it, I understand why so many people keep coming back to the Crosstrek. It’s honest, sturdy, and ready for whatever comes next.

The BYD SEAL U DM-i gave me a good first taste of what BYD could bring to Canada.

It looks like a regular compact SUV, but the plug-in hybrid system is what makes it interesting. Around town, it often drives like an EV. On longer trips, the gas engine removes the range anxiety.

Not perfect, but worth watching.

Happy Donut Day! 🍩

Some celebrate with sprinkles. We celebrate with a little tire smoke.

Whether it’s a cruller or a burnout, make sure your day leaves a lasting impression.

A quick stop in the studio with the all-new Volvo EX60.

Volvo gave us some time with it for a photoshoot, and we couldn’t resist capturing every angle.

Safe? Of course.
Practical? Most likely.
But let’s be honest… it looks pretty good too.

What do you think? Is this Volvo’s best-looking SUV yet?
