Sometimes, experience makes all the difference.
This Porsche 911 Carrera S has been a client of ours for nearly a decade. We originally ceramic coated the vehicle approximately 10 years ago and protected the entire front end with PPF about 8 years ago.
This time, it came back to us with a rather challenging problem: a deep scratch on the roof caused by an unfortunate encounter with a garage door while backing up.
With over 15 years of experience in the detailing industry, we took on this highly technical paint correction to restore the finish as much as possible.
We started by carefully wet sanding the affected area to assess the depth and extent of the damage. Once we understood what we were dealing with, we used a precise combination of techniques to remove as much of the scratch as possible while carefully preserving the remaining clear coat.
To finish the job, we installed PPF over the entire roof. Not only does this provide long-term protection, but it also helped minimize the appearance of the few faint imperfections that remained.
The result? Almost no trace of the original damage and a finish we're extremely proud of!
