FANS OF PORSCHE | The Wheel Network
Fans Of Porsche, presents the 2026 Porsche 911 [992.2] Production Line brought by The Wheel Network (YouTube channel). The Porsche Zuffenhausen Production Plant is a State-of-the-Art facility that was established in 1938 exclusively for building the latest Porsche 911 Super & Sports cars. Additionally, the Porsche 911 Production Line also builds the latest Porsche Taycan, Macan Electric Powertrains and, Cup Race cars directly from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany. This State-of-the-Art facility is notoriously known as the historical heart and soul (Core), and Headquarters for Porsche AG.
The Manufacturing Core is built on 1-single, highly flexible "Flexi-Line" (Production Flow). In other words, the "Flex-Line" integrated a Highly-Technically Innovated Production Line managed by the State-of-the-Art engineering componentry's like driverless Automated Guided Vehicles (Robotic Systems), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and one Central Factory Cloud computing Cross-Platform Assembly. Thus, we'll be exploring the Robotic Systems (AVG) explicitly connected to the Porsche 911 [992.2] build:
⬙ The Body-Shop Robots' (AVG) utility is building and assembling the Porsche 911 [992.2] Body-in-White with High Precision Automation (Sensor-Based, Precision Controller, and +/- 300 Body-Shop Robots in orchestration)
⬙ The Body-Shop Robots' (AVG) integrates structural body-componentry of the Porsche 911 [992.2] and moves the chassis through several body-componentry stations utilizing Robotic Systems (AVG)
⬙ The Human-Robot Collaborations' (HRC) utility is supporting body-componentry assemblage of the Porsche 911 [992.2] (like the Marriage Station) while processing their individual tasks safely in-parallel; in others words, human & machine working in unison to accomplish 1-single job (the HRC is programmed to stop individual jobs when the assigned Assembly Worker or Technician is not working within its automated safety tolerances)
⬙ The Paint-Shop Robots' (AVG) utilities are applying polyvinyl chloride (PVC) underbody protection on the Porsche 911 [992.2] and automating the Porsche PTS paint-process of customized graphics to painted body-componentry with High Precision
Unlike previous Fans Of Porsche post, today's information does not necessarily surpass what you may have heard through other sources in comparison with the Porsche Zuffenhausen Production Plant. Particularly due to the high level of complexity within the Porsche Production Flow. But, today's information may impress some of our Porsche Enthusiast nevertheless... 🤯
Furthermore, the Porsche 911 [992.2] Production Line's official delivery count of Porsche Driver acquisitions in 2025 follows (this does not include Porsche Production Flow number):
⬙ Porsche AG stated the 911 [992.2] recorded 51 583 deliveries after acquisitions worldwide in 2025, which is described a new Porsche AG record for its 911 Model-Line.
Unfortunately, Fans Of Porsche was unable to source their official total headcount for per unit completed (one Porsche 911 [992.2]) within the Production Flow (Workforce) in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany. Therefore, one will not be invent. Trust me... 😎
However, Porsche AG explicitly stated 1 500 Assembly Workers and Technicians (Workforce) are implicated in per unit completed during the 2-day unit assembly; in other words, from Body-In-White to Delivery (end-to-end Production Flow). Additionally, this Workforce operates 7-hours and 55-minutes per day across 3-shifts (assemblage); 280 are Highly Specialized in Upholstery & Saddlery - 18,6% of the 911's Workforce are hide centric... 😮
