2020 Camaro ZL1 M6 .

This customer called to have his calibration checked out as the car just didnt feel a spicy as it should be.

The customer arrived at the shop for us to look over the calibration work and baseline the car and show him what the car was making. Now we likely build and tune more these LT4 car than anyone in Ontario...we know these cars and what they make for power when put together properly and the calibration work is on point.

This cars calibration was missing a big piece to the puzzle...but that wasn't the only reason the car was down on power...👀

When we put the car on the dyno to make a baseline pull to show the customer what it was making , we found a rather major problem...we found the cat had complete blown out and plugged the passenger side tail pipe.

So the vehicle came off the rollers onto the hoist where we found the driver side cat also melted...and coming apart.

Once those issues were resolved, we found the company who installed the upper pulley on the blower failed to install the right size blower belt...not going to work well.

After fixing all the issues and calibrating the car properly this car is now making the power it should be..

2007 Corvette z06 was into see us for a few upgrades and Calibration work.

This customer originally reached out to us about seeing if we could help him in some drivability and park lot manners he was never happy with.

The customer had made mention when in the shop the first time his car had made in the 650rwhp range...great numbers for his combination which was a full Tony Mamo spec ls7 package. The first thing I asked this customer after these numbers were suggested to us...."what injectors are in the car"? Customer response "stock". I immediately said well thats not possible to achieve those numbers on a stock injectors...they just dont flow enough fuel to produce that power. Now this customer was educated and had a good handle on the ls7 engine and even made mention the previous tuner had 28* of timing in the motor. My immediate response to this was thats a lot of timing on an Ls7. So our discussion continued and I peaked some interest from him about maybe his car did not make the power suggested by the other shop who tuned the car. The customer reachd out a few days later to set up an appointment for us to install a set of FIC540cc injectors and his new air intake along with a proper calibration. Before we did anything on the car we baselined his car to show him what his car was actually was making....

588rwhp with and injector duty cycle at 92%...and yes a full 28* of timing 🥳. For those who dont know... LS7 DO NOT TAKE THAT MUCH TIMING!

Other interesting things we found...the last calibrator decided that this car was better off running in open loop under 2000rpm and crusing at 12.5 afr down the road...🫪 given he was trying to smooth out this monster cam the best he could...this isn't som**hing we do.

With our new Calibration work / injectors and air intake swap we found a substantial amount of power and torque for this customer and dropped his fuel mileage by 2L / 100km...much better parking lot manners you can drive the car on the clutch in a parking lot without spilling your coffee.

Gain of : 45rwhp with 24* OF TIMING!

2009 CTS-V A6 into see us after having some drivability concerns with a recent calibration done locally.

The concerns were documented, then logged with the customer in the vehicle. The vehicle not only had some serious issue with the transmission Calibration but the engine side was possibly even worse.

This vehicle was strapped down the the dyno where we data the car and showed the customer exactly what he paid for. This car put down some seriously low numbers....som**hing wasn't right.
So we did what we do best...find problems, correct them and make power properly.

This car made 539rwhp when it arrived.
Mods :

- air raid intake
- 90mm throttle body
- 2.5 upper pulley
- long tube headers ( catted )
- cat back exhaust
- 1000cc injectors
- alky control m**h kit ( using washer fluid )

This car was easily missing 60rwhp from what we know about these cars.

After reviewing the data we discovered the car had an AFR of 13.6 across the entire pull....Dangerously lean.

We put a plan together for the customer.

- DDP Intake w/LS9 Maf
- Inspect the Catalytic Converters
( suspected plugged )
- install in Spark Plugs
- fix m**h system and fill with pure alcohol
- Start over with new Calibration

What we found :

- plugged air filter insanely dirty
- one plugged cat
- failed m**h system ( pump, and maf controller)
- faulty throttle body

What we did :
- DDP intake
- new plugs gapped properly
- Replace cats
- replace throttle body with oem lsa
- replace m**h pump , maf controller size nozzle appropriately for power of car
- re- Calibrate car

Results :

597rwhp
Same boost, less timing, 11.0 afr with alcohol.
All transmission concerns addressed.

Another one out the door and working the way it should.

Another Forged LS engine coming down the pipe.

This unit will have a sweet combination ready to make a reliable 800rwhp once we add an A&A blower down the road.

We are adding a set of Callies rods and Wiesco pistons to this LS6 which is out a 2002 Z06. This unit will also be receiving a set of Katech CNC Ported 243 heads complete with there competition valve job. We will be sliding in a BTR Stage 2 centrifcal blower cam and sealing it up with ARP Head studs and Ls9 gaskets ready to take some boost.

We have been using the same machine shop for our short block assembly for over 20 years.
His knowledge of big horsepower and reliability speaks for itself. His machine work is second to none utilizing the best machines in the industry combined with knowledge and a passion for perfection in every engine.

2013 Camaro ZL1 M6 into see us for a performance inspection after purchasing this beautiful machine.

We unit was originally built at SLP back in 2013

Car had an SLP package of some type, not 100% what the paclage was, but it had :

Dynatech Catted long tubes
SLP cold air kit
2.5 upper pulley
Mystery injectors
Tune

Baseline 535rwhp...Definitely low for the modifications on tap.

We swap the mystery injectors out for a set of FIC850cc units, swapped out the SLP upper pulley for one of our Griptech units and also added a properly sized gates HD belt. We then added a RotoFab Big Gulp air intake and strapped it back down... we made some gains ( 580rwhp) ...still not what we would expect...the curve wasn't right.

We decided to continue digging....what we found next pretty wild...I had suspected the cats may have been hurt due to how rich the previous tune up was. The car was also rather quiet...We decided to remove the cats and inspect...we didnt find any cat material in the cats...they were empty. With our long scope camera we ran it down the pipe and found the cats plugged inside of the oem mufflers...unfortunately in a location impossible to remove. The customer decided this was a great opportunity to put the corsa exhaust exhaust on the car and give it that true modern muscle car sound.

Back onto the rollers where we saw the correct numbers for one of our Stage 1.5 LSA car.

Most shops that dont work on these cars day in and day out would have sent this unit down the road as the tune up was spot on and made decent numbers.

Take your car to shops that have experience with your car...not all shops have experience like we do on LS / LT forced induction builds. Experience matters for creating results.

2016 Corvette z06 a8 into see us for the new Wisher Performance Auxjection System.

This car is using a stock cam but we previously added a Kong ported blower paired long tubes now with full flex fuel capabilities...this unit is ready to rock.

Given today was a beautiful day to make Horsepower with the crisp fall air it still laid down some big numbers.

Watch out for this unit...its ready to hurt some feelings.

2009 CTSV A6 in for some diagnostic work and upgrades.

Customer brought vehicle in due to lack of power...we did a quick scan of the car while the customer was there...noticed IAT2 temps out of control...up in the 185* range. These temps on these cars are not normal...either an intercooler pump has gone bad or low on coolant with in the supercharger system. Car indeed had a burnt up intercooler pump.

We upgraded the pump to one of our favorite pumps to use in our Supercharged vehicles here at the shop...the Brushless Bosch 4.5gpm unit. These little pumps fit right at home a flow some great numbers.

We also added a 2.5 griptech pulley package with solid insulator and put it back on the rollers for the required Calibration adjustments.

Car had previously been to us for calibration when the owner added a set of long tube headers and intake.

Picked up a solid 60rwhp and 60lbs over the stock pulley.

Customer has a nice little family rocket to enjoy everyday.

2001 Corvette LS1 M6 into see us for an A & A Supercharger Package. This customer previously had a nice set of long tubes paired with a cat back exhaust.

This A & A package was paired with one of our Custom 2bar SD tune packages. We believe the SD tune packages are the only way to go when using any type of forced induction on the Gen 3 platforms.

Low boost on this unit.
