How much pressure does this CP3 want? 🤔 I don’t know but how about all of it! 🤯 but seriously that is too much…. By a lot! And also don’t plumb it into the return side of the pump. That’s a no no 🫣 also don’t make the return side of engine go to the suction of the pump… also a no no. At least this Fass was putting out 😳

One of our favorite engines to work on, the 3406e/C-15! Thanks to Anderson Trucking for trusting us with this build for your truck. This is an MBN converted to certain 6NZ parts. Nice pulling 600HP with an Air-Tec Innovations 78/96/1.32, egts have no issue staying nice and cool 👌

Unfortunately winter 🥶 is on route so time for the Fleece Performance Engineering intake and grid heater upgrade kit! We also installed the second coil as well for extra heat. The kit looks great and now no more worries about damage from an innocent little nut falling where it shouldn’t 😉 more kits in stock as well!

Turbo time!! 💪💪
Customer is on route this morning for this 78/96/1.32 GATED!!! Air-Tec Innovations turbo for his C15 that’s been tuned to 600HP. Yes it’s gated!! Some people don’t want it because they think the gates are limiting the charger but these are gated to 40 psi and meant to run gated to 40psi. Certain applications these will make the charger last longer but it gives it a little area to work in where they can spool quicker but limit turbo shaft speed without it being hard on them. We also have these in
1.15 GATED and 1.45 GATED!!! Yes the non gated stuff is great but the turbine housing size has to be chosen to the proper HP and exhaust flow which some people know the common sizing to Hp but we get asked these questions all the time for sizing. I will be making videos to explain my answers on the commonly asked questions we get so maybe we can help some guys out.

Our final pre tariff pallet of turbos has made it in, inventory is getting finished and shipping out is starting. Unfortunately we couldn’t get as many as we wanted due to supply issues on the 78mm units. Get them while you can on the CHEAPER price because they hit turbos coming across with a 25% hit into Canada. That’s not just these but all turbos, Holset, Garrett, Borg, Ect. Very unfortunate but it’s the cards we have all been dealt 😡 Buuuut give us a shout if there is any of these Air-Tec Innovations units you need and see what we can do for ya!

Turbo time and some tuning for this 3406B! Originally this truck was very laggy and making just over 15lbs of boost. Lots of black smoke at first but nothing to keep up after. Did a turbo swap and it definitely helped but it was still lacking top end and the way the aneroid responded to boost was slow. Went from 17 lbs of boost to 25 psi so much better! Reset the timing advance, opened up the pump a little and some aneroid work and now hits 34psi and fast to react as well! Air-Tec Innovations turbos hitting it on point again keeping customers happy 👌

Right now me and the family are out in Alberta for some of the pull events that are going on from Wetaskiwin to Vermillion. We were having turbo issues before we had left so we brought an ATS Diesel Performance Aurora 3000 for its replacement on our 5th Gen Ram. I know we had issues for a bit but after installing this turbo we have NEVER had it spool this nicely! Also the exhaust brake works better then it ever has as well. We had this truck since it was at 130,000 km so it was still under warranty and now at 275,000km. Each summer this truck sees a lot of miles towing our pull truck around. This thing is a kick ass replacement for people who want to keep the VGT 👍
