Crescent Lake RV Park Beautiful Crescent Lake RV Park, in Lake Monster Country, is only 22 km north on route 380. Just a short walk from Crescent Lake RV Park.

Excellent sea trout, speckled trout and salmon fishing in the narrows or keep walking and enjoy the spectacular scenery of beautiful Hazelnut Hiking and Adventure Trail. A million miles from anywhere but right in our back yard!!!!

Campfires are permitted when the daily Fire Weather Index is Low (blue), Moderate (green), or High (yellow).

Campfires are banned when the Fire Weather Index is Very High (orange) or Extreme (red).

If you are having a campfire, follow these important safety rules:
🔥 Check the daily Forest Fire Hazard Rating before lighting any fire
🍃Avoid having campfires on windy days
🌲 Choose an open, clear area away from trees, brush, dry grass, and buildings
🏕️ Keep campfires on bare soil, gravel, sand, or contained in a screened fire pit
🔥➡️ Keep the campfire small and controllable
Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby at all times
👀 Never leave a fire unattended
💧Fully extinguish the fire before leaving it – soak it, stir the embers, and soak again

🔥 NEW FIRE HAZARD UPDATE FOR NL 🔥

Across much of Newfoundland, the fire index is sitting in the MODERATE to HIGH range today. Dry conditions in some areas mean it won’t take much for fires to start and spread quickly.

Reminder:
• Use extreme caution with ATVs, machinery, and anything that could spark a fire
• Never leave ci******es or campfires unattended

Please do your part to help prevent wildfires as we head deeper into fire season across the province.
