Stranded on the side of the road? Here’s what to do while you wait for help.

If your vehicle breaks down, your safety comes first.

🔸Move your vehicle out of traffic if it’s safe to do so. Pull onto the shoulder or another safe location whenever possible.

🔸Turn on your hazard lights to make your vehicle more visible to other drivers.

🔸Stay away from the roadway and never stand between your vehicle and passing traffic.

🔸Call for roadside assistance and share your location so help can reach you as quickly as possible.

🔸When help is on the way, give yourself space from traffic and wait in the safest location available.

On June 26, Astro Towing was proud to support the Outskirts Music Festival at the SaskTel Centre Grounds.

Behind every great event is a lot of preparation, and our team was happy to help by hauling the picnic tables and concrete blocks needed to get the site ready for festivalgoers enjoying performances by Jelly Roll, Third Eye Blind, Cooper Alan, Wide Mouth Mason, and Brayden King.

We're proud to support events that bring our community together and appreciate the opportunity to work behind the scenes to help make them happen. Thanks to the organizers for trusting Astro Towing!

Last week, Dennis and Rae had the opportunity to speak with Driver Education classes at Marion Graham Collegiate and Tommy Douglas Collegiate as part of the Roadside Responders of Saskatchewan (RRAS) program.

Using real experiences from the towing industry, they discussed the responsibilities of being a new driver, the costs and consequences of poor decisions, and the importance of staying alert behind the wheel. Students also learned practical tips like planning ahead, preparing for Saskatchewan weather, knowing basic vehicle maintenance, and always letting someone know where they're headed.

We're proud to support RRAS and help encourage safer, smarter driving for the next generation.

🎶 What a fantastic week at TD Sask Jazz Fest!

We were proud to support one of Saskatoon's biggest summer events by helping move the equipment that keeps the festival running behind the scenes. From performer offices and ticket booths to fencing and generators, our team was there to transport everything to and from the festival site safely and efficiently.

It was a lot of fun being part of such an incredible event and helping make the festival a success. Thanks to everyone involved—we're already looking forward to next year! 🎷

Nothing brings a team together quite like good food and great conversation! 🌭☀️

Last week, the Astro Towing team gathered for our staff BBQ. It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy lunch together, catch up with coworkers, and strengthen the connections that make our team so strong.
