2026 Charger Dialed in for the Car Show!

Things I learned about the new two door Charger's. They come in all wheel drive, the Twin Turbo Six Pack Hurricane high output Engine makes more torque and HP than the Hellcat.

It's built on the same platform as a Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

It is Infact a hatch back! The rear glass and trunk lid are all one large panel that opens to a fairly large trunk.

The new 3 pointed logo is called the Fratzog and actually isn't new at all, used by Dodge on its vehicles from 1962 to 1976. It is made of three delta-shaped, inward-pointing pieces joined in an equilateral triangle. The name itself has no meaning; a Dodge designer completely made it up.

Regardless it's a cool comeback to a new era of classic looking modern cars.

Dodge Charger SIX PACK with Twin Turbo Hurricane Engine.

Specialized Paint Correction New Vehicle Inspection Detail & Ceramic Paint Protection.

I can't say this enough "NEW" Vehicles right off the lot are NOT! Perfect! I literally spent years working for Dealership's Repairing Damage on "New" Vehicle's right off the Delivery Truck.

It's up to the dealership to inspect for damages, correct and prepare the vehicle for delivery and that often just means a quick wash, greasy tire shine and smeared up glass. This isn't always the case but this unfortunately is the norm.

This Charger had bird droppings & bug splatter etching, glue residue from protective shipping plastic, several scratches, wash brush marring, wet sanding marks from factory dust nib removal as well as road paint splattered over the rear quarter, trunk lid & bumper.

These defects were missed by the dealer deliver detail and the road paint was probably picked up during shipping.

This Charger has less than 1700km let that sink in.

Paint Correction is more than just making a car shiny, especially when the paint is new, thin and very soft!

Specialized Care is needed to know how to remove each defect in the least aggressive way possible to preserve the clear coat.

Knowing what Chemicals remove Road Tar, Different Tree Sap's or baked on Road Paint, what grade of Clay Bar to use to remove contamination without marring the paint and how aggressive of a cut to start with to prevent deep swirls & Holograms.

When Fresh Paint is so soft wiping it with a New Clean Microfiber Cloth literally leaves fine micro Scratches Special Care is needed.

I Research each vehicle often weeks before it comes in, I find out what kind of paint I'm working with, common issues, I study the lines and make a plan of attack.

Having more than a decade of Paint Correction & Body Shop Experience I understand what is under the paint, how many microns I have to work with, how impossibly thin automotive clear coat actually is. How to remove texture and how much can be safely removed when chasing a defect. What scratches can be removed, what can be improved and what can't and should be sent to a body shop.

A Personalized Experience for each Client and Specialized Care for each Vehicle. No two cars are the same and I would never treat them as such it's a case by case scenario.

Temporary Solution for a Common Problem.

RAM Warlocks & RAM Rebels are Plagued with a well documented issue of the front and rear bumpers Rough Bedliner Coating Peeling after only a few years.

I personally have this happening the Ram Warlock Shop Truck Nicknamed Guinevere, Guiny for short.

I've tried to have this addressed through the dealership only to be met with it's a wear item, the peeling is started by stone chips, it's not covered, you don't have an Extended Paint Warranty. Even though it started flaking off with no stone chips in sight and no explanation on what to do about it or given options to have it repaired.

It's Frustrating and I know other Ram owners are going through the same ordeal.

I read about it on line it's a frustrating issue that the dealer's basically put their hands up and say it's off warranty, not covered, not our problem!

But I'm working on a solution!
I have Several years of Body Shop Experience and Experience Spraying Truck Bedliner Coatings from long before I made Detailing my full time Gig.

Now this is a quick bandaid of a job just to get Guiny looking good for the Car Show this weekend but it's not far off from a proper repair that would last with the right prep work, epoxy primer and a Durable Premium Spray on Bedliner Coating.

I know this repair will fail again as the paint underneath is going to delaminate, this is a temporary Solution.

To be done properly I would sand down the old coating, epoxy primer the bare metal and coat with a Durable Professional Bedliner.

This repair was scuffed and sprayed with a rattle can Bedliner product then top coated with a Matt clear coat to hopefully keep it from fading for a bit. Basically just enough to make it look good for the summer I'm hoping. I don't have high expectations.

Not that I don't have faith in my work I just know these kinds of quick repairs with diy products that don't fully address the underlying issue eventually lead to the same failure over time.

If this quick fix is good enough for you and your sick of looking at your crusty bumper I'm sure we could work something out in the meantime. 😁

Ideally I would prefer to do the repair property and make it last.

Going forward I'm hoping I will be able to offer more services this winter Spray on Beadliner being one of them!

Another one Read for the Car Show this weekend!

1953 F100 Dressed to Impress

The Single Stage Paint was quite thin so we made sure to go as gentle as possible to Preserve & Protect the finish so of course that means painstaking polish & Wax by hand.

What all we did to this beaut

Overspray Removal, Hand Polish, Chrome Polish, Glass Polish, Acid Wheel Cleaning, Ceramic Tire Coating, Trim Restoration, Old School Surf City Carnauba Wax, Interior Vacuum, Dash & Guage Cluster Detailed & Waxed, Leather Cleaned & Conditioned.

Convertible Mustang Paint Correction & Overspray Removal.
Ready for Car Show Season!

Overspray removed from windshield, side glass & rear window. Primer & Base Clear Coat Overspray on windshield pillars & rear bumper Meticulously removed with 800, 1000, 2000 & 3000 Grit Wet Sanding, Heavy Cut & Fine Finishing Polish.
Spot Paint Correction on rear fender requiring Wet Sanding & Machine Polishing.

To bring it all together the rest of the paintwork was lightly Polished by hand, Ceramic Paint Sealant applied, Convertible Top Brushed out, Chrome Mustang Badge Metal Polished, wheels cleaned with acid free wheel cleaner & tires shined.
