I checked the temperature at many of our locations this morning, and you can see the cold days are upon us! Just got back from a trip to Mexico, and had the misfortune of a flat tire with the rental car. Thankfully, flat tires are such a common thing there, you can find convenient 'llanteras' (small streetside tire repair shops) all over the place. 📸🚗

While this gentleman removed the nail and put in a plug (for only 100 pesos, or about $8 Canadian), I got a look at some of the tires he had for sale and realised that in a warm country without snow and ice, you can get away with worn tires more than you can here at home. 😟❄️⛄

Thankfully, with winter on its way, we have our annual Winter Tire Event this coming weekend at all Kenny U-Pull locations. We pull out our largest inventory of winter tires, including:

Look at what caught my eye in the Kenny U-Pull Montreal yard the other day! I like to think I know alot about older models of cars, but I know almost nothing about this 1993 Subaru Loyale! 😍🏆📸

Subaru is synonymous with 'all-wheel-drive' nowadays, but I don't actually know much about these older models. Do any of you Subaru fans know anything about the Loyale? Was it a reliable vehicle? Was there a sedan version or were they all wagons? Any other stories or thoughts on this rather rare car? 🤔🧐🚗

It's a beautiful day for a nostalgia tour in the yard at Kenny U-Pull Ottawa! I saw a few cool 90's items like a jazzy purple, pink and neon green sweatshirt, a nifty Dodge Stealth hood bra, and two super cool Pontiac seat-back bags.
