Whistler Sailing 💨⛵ Get on the water with Whistler Sailing! Join a welcoming community on Alta Lake.

We offer kids & youth summer camps, learn-to-sail programs, and wing foiling clinics for all ages and skill levels, from first-timers to experienced enthusiasts. Founded in 2008, Whistler Sailing is a local nonprofit sailing association formed by a group of dinghy sailors looking to bring the sport of sailing to the community of Whistler. Operating on Alta Lake, WSA is home to a regular thermal th

at routinely meet the shores every day. The fresh water provides a perfect location for beginner sailors, and the mountainous terrain creates shifts that can keep any advanced sailor on their toes. Through the passion of dedicated volunteers and an incredible team of people, the association has grown into a fully operational sailing school offering summer sailing programs for kids and youth, and adult programming including learn to sail and race nights.

💨 🏄‍♂️The Whistler Sailing wing foil instructor team came together today for our annual instructor training on Alta Lake.

It was a great day on the water reviewing coaching techniques, safety procedures, and best practices to help ensure a fun and rewarding experience for everyone who joins us for a lesson this summer.

With training complete, our team is ready for the 2026 season and excited to welcome both new and returning riders to the lake.

⛵ Get race ready with our Season Opener Clinic! ⛵

Wednesday night racing is just around the corner! Join us on May 20th from 5:00–8:00 pm for a 3-hour tune-up session designed to help you shake off the rust, get back into the rhythm on the water, and sharpen your skills before the season begins.

Led by coach Jeff Baird, this hands-on clinic will focus on the fundamentals that make a difference:

✅ Boat handling
✅ Revisiting key fundamentals
✅ Boat balance
✅ Mark roundings

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, build confidence, or just get back into the rhythm on the water, this is a great way to kick off the season.

💨 Women’s Wing Foil Camp
📍 Alta Lake | June 13–14

We’re excited to introduce this two-day progression-focused weekend designed to help you get up on foil.

If you’re comfortable riding with the wing and starting to feel those first moments of lift, this camp is all about taking the next step. We’ll focus on the details that make the difference — building board speed, refining wing control, and dialing in balance and body positioning.

Led by coach Sandra Bicego, with daily guided stretch sessions from Astrid Kent, the weekend is designed to support both your progression and your time on the water.

With coach boat support, you’ll maximize your time riding and get the repetition needed for things to click. Lunch is included.
